Emily & Peter’s Spring Wedding at Lillibrooke Manor

I always love going back to Lillibrooke Manor, it’s such a beautiful space and always has a good flow to the day, so when Emily and Peter booked me for their wedding, I was so excited for their day to come around!

I joined Emily and her bridesmaids in the morning, music was playing and the Prosecco was flowing, they all had excited energy, and I knew it would be a fun day. One of the great things about this venue is that everything is in the same location, so both Emily & Peter were getting ready onsite. This meant I could cover both bride and groom prep, so I popped over to see how Peter was getting on in the main house and captured his final moments of getting ready. Groom prep coverage is always quick in comparison so it wasn’t long before I was back with Emily and her girls. Once everyone was ready, Emily had her first look with her dad and left him speechless!

Confetti and pink blossom at Lillibrooke Manor

It was a short walk across the drive to the barn where the ceremony was held. It was a beautiful ceremony, and as Emily and Peter walked down the aisle as Mr and Mrs, they stopped to share a kiss! Their confetti walk was taken in front of the main house, it was a nice backdrop and I love the excitement and joy on both of their faces in these. The reception drinks were held in the garden behind the main house, where the beautiful pink blossom tree was, here their guests enjoyed the canapés and drinks. For their portraits we explored the grounds to get different backdrops, I love how different a venue can look with each season, so we made the most of the beautiful pink blossom for some of their shots.

Speeches and Dancing in Lillibrooke’s Beautiful Barn

It was then time to head to the main barn, where their wedding breakfast is served and dancing in the evening is held. I loved Emily and Peter’s entrance here, all the guests stood as usual but held their napkins in the air and waved them around as they walked through the barn. The day then flowed into speeches, dinner and dancing! Emily had a special dance with her dad, before leading into their first dance together. It was so wonderful to capture Emily & Peter’s day.

Thank you Emily & Peter for trusting me to capture your day!
