Hi - I’m Carys!

I am a storytelling wedding photographer based in Lancashire.

I’ve recently relocated to the North West, but I still love to travel and cover the rest of the UK. My family is based in Berkshire, Wales, and Cornwall, so I always love an excuse to visit!

I've always loved photography and have a deep passion for capturing people's stories. I studied at Falmouth University, where I earned a First Class Honours Degree in Press and Editorial Photography.

During my time at university, I documented the lifestyles of the local community. This included everything from a group living off the grid to wild sea swimmers and an alpaca rescue sanctuary.

After graduating, I followed my passion for people and decided to start my own business. Now, I get to document one of the happiest days in people's lives!

I've been photographing weddings for over five years now, and I've gained so much knowledge and experience along the way. I absolutely love what I do, and am so grateful for all the wonderful couples who trust me to tell their story. My top priorities are: making sure you have the best day ever and capturing memories you'll always cherish.

A few facts about me:

I’m currently training for the London Marathon.
I’m 30 years old and I love my Nintendo switch, my current favourite game is Animal Crossing.
The Lake District is my happy place.
I could eat pasta and pizza every day.
My summer drink has to be a nice cold lager, otherwise, I’m drinking endless cups of tea.

What do I like to do when I’m not working? Well a few of my favorite things to do include eating ice cream, long walks, reading in coffee shops, and getting cosy on the sofa with a big blanket!
