Claire & Tom’s Cotswolds Wedding

On a beautiful summer’s day, Claire and Tom held their wedding in the Cotswolds, where they held their cereomony in their local church, followed by drinks, dinner, and dancing in the local pub. It was a dreamy day to be part of.

Bridal Prep in the comfort of their own Home

I joined Claire in the morning at her house, where preparations were in full swing! The talented Celfie, was doing the finishing touches to Claire’s make-up, and she was looking beautiful already. Claire’s mum and bridesmaids, helped her get into her dress, and before long it was time to head to the church to get married! Claire and her dad arrived in a stunning vintage car, so they arrived at their ceremony in style!

A Traditional Church Ceremony in the Cotswolds

As Claire arrived, a few locals came over to watch their arrival, it’s always so nice that people come to share the excitement. It was a beautiful church, I stood towards the back and captured the ceremony unfolding. I loved capturing the excitement on Claire and Tom’s face as they said their vows, and became husband and wife!! As the walked back down the aisle as Mr and Mrs, they stopped to share a kiss. Confetti was thrown outside the church grounds, then Claire and Tom were driven away in the vintage car!

Countryside Portraits on route to their Reception

In the lead-up to their wedding, Claire and Tom searched for a spot where we could have their portraits, and found a perfect field that was on route to their reception. When I saw the field, I was blown away! It was a dreamy spot! I guided them through their sessions, understanding that they didn’t want to be away from their guests for long, so we before long we hopped back over the fence and were on our way to their reception.

Their Cotswolds Wedding was complete with Dinner, Drinks, and Ice Cream at a Country Pub.

The Salvation Inn is a beautiful country pub, which has plenty of outdoor seating areas, both out the front and back of the pub. With it being a beautiful summer’s day, the reception drinks took place out the front, under the shade of the large tree. The pub put together a delicious spread, where guests could help themselves, giving a relaxed vibe that Claire and Tom were looking for. The speeches took place in the garden area, which had everyone in tears and plenty of laughs. The dessert was a traditional Mr Whippy van which was a perfect way to serve up some desserts! The afternoon flowed into the evening, they had their cake-cutting (a talented friend made the cake) and then it was time to dance the night away!

Thank you, Claire and Tom, for choosing me to be part of your day, I loved every minute of it.

I hope you can enjoy these highlights!
